Hendrick’s Gin has unveiled a spectacular contraption today in London’s Kings Cross. Bang on the forecourt of King’s Cross Station, the Time Inversion Instrument invites curious Londoners to break free from British Summer Time and open their eyes to an Alternative Notion of Time….

Ahead of the clock-change this weekend, this instrument, placed at precisely 51° 32′ 9.78″ N Latitude and 0° 07′ 30.47″ E Longitude, to face St Pancras Clock Tower, will instantly shatter long-held time perceptions. Intrepid passers-by are invited to climb up the spectacular 12-foot-tall structure and gaze through its mesmerising crystal amplifier. Instead of seeing the iconic clock tower as they know it, the architectural masterpiece will appear upside down. No Alice in Wonderland magic, though, simply the beauty of science.

Curiosity will be rewarded with a Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic (infused with rose and cucumber, the brand’s signature) to be enjoy in their own time at ‘The Booking Office’ within the nearby St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. This fascinating contraption marks the commencement of Hendricks’ Alternative Notions of Time: a summer of unusual experiences, theories, stories and curious cocktails to question time as you know it…
